Bibrod Tirth Ratlam
Regarded a major center of Jainism religion and philosophy, Bibrod Tirth, Ratlam is in the limelight for several reasons in Ratlam, Also known as Kesariyaji, it is inside the large fort in the Bibrod village.Madhya Pradesh. Notable attraction of this Jain worship center is Nearly 76 centimetres (2.49 ft) high, black-colored idol of Bhagawan Adinath in the Padmansana posture.
It was made from a black-colored stone and so is the idol looking amazing in its silent Padmansana posture. There is an inscription that his idol belongs to a period earlier than even the thirteenth century. The idol is so artistic that by merely seeing it, one can guess its antiquity. On seeing this ancient, beautiful and peaceful posture of God, the heart of pilgrims leaps up with a powerful impulse of devotion. It is difficult to find elsewhere such an idol made of sand. The scene of the pinnacles of the temple inside the fort is delightful to see. The idol is of special artistry. A fair is held here from the tenth day to the fifteenth day of the dark half of the month of Magasar. Thousands of devotees come here to worship God with devotion. Devotees don’t miss to worship the idols during their visits.
How to Reach
The nearest railway station of Ratlam is at a distance of 8 kilometers from here. Bus service and private vehicles are available. Board and lodging provisions are there. The nearest Airport is Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Bus Service and private vehicles are available, one can also take a train to Ratlam
The Bibrod Tirth, Ratlam is a notable one in other aspects as well. Of worth noticing is the architecture that showcases excellent art and sculpture work. Bullock cart ride
They believe that if they travel by a bullock cart, it will bring prosperity to the community and take away all their problems.
This unique event takes place once a year on Amavasya (new moon night) in Poush month when hundreds of devotees belonging to Jain community visit the temple of Swami Rishabhdev in Bibrod.
For a six-km bullock cart ride from Ratlam to a Jain temple in Bibrod village, people pay up to Rs 6,000, which is more than the air fare between Indore and Delhi. Demand for carts increases that day as a few number of bullock carts are available in the area. “Most of the devotees book their carts in advance as per their requirements. Small families of two to three members can book a small chakra bullock cart for Rs 2,000 and a big family can book a big cart for up to Rs 5,000 to 8,000. #Caller ID #Spoofing-means

Definition - What does Caller ID Spoofing mean?
Caller ID spoofing is the process of changing the caller ID to any number other than the calling number. spoofing is a malicious technique where a caller masquerades as someone else by falsifying the number that appears on the recipient's caller ID When a phone receives a call, the caller ID is transmitted between the first and second ring of the phone. To transmit the caller ID, we use a technique called Frequency Shift Keying, which transmits the caller ID in a binary format. It is possible, during this part of the call, to transmit the caller ID we want instead of the true number.
Technology and methods
Caller ID is spoofed through a variety of methods and different technology. The most popular ways of spoofing Caller ID are through the use of VoIP or PRI lines
Explain Caller ID Spoofing
Caller ID spoofing has been available for years to people with a specialized digital connection to the telephone company. Collection agencies, law enforcement officials, and private investigators have used the practice, with varying degrees of legality. However, the advent of VoIP (voice over Internet Protocol) service makes it simple for the average person to falsify a calling number, and as Internet telephony has become more common, so has caller ID spoofing.
Frequently, caller ID spoofing is used for prank calls. For example, someone might call a friend and arrange for "Prime Minister" to appear on the recipient's caller display. However, criminal uses of caller ID spoofing, such as identity theft and vishing (VoIP or voicephishing), have also increased significantly.
There are multiple online services that offer caller ID spoofing for a price; some even offer a 30-second free trial, so you can try out the service. To make the service work, all you have to do is provide three pieces of information: the phone number you want to call from, the phone number you are calling, and the number you wish to show up in the caller ID.
Once all the information is provided the service will create a conference type phone call and connect you to the number you have specified. If you wanted to, you could potentially set up something to spoof caller ID yourself. All that you need to do is set up a host with Asterisk and then have a SIP trunk line.
Some service providers have been known to allow any number in the caller ID sequence sent out on Primary Rate Interfaces. This allows any company having a legitimate purpose change the caller ID to a number they specify. Unfortunately, it also allows anyone who owns a Primary Rate Interface to specify a number for malicious purposes.
Service providers
Some spoofing services work similarly to a prepaid calling card. Customers pay in advance for a personal identification number (PIN). Customers dial the number given to them by the company, their PIN, the destination number and the number they wish to appear as the Caller ID. The call is bridged or transferred and arrives with the spoofed number chosen by the caller—thus tricking the called party.
Many providers also provide a Web-based interface or a mobile application where a user creates an account, logs in and supplies a source number, destination number and the bogus caller ID information to be displayed. The server then places a call to each of the two endpoint numbers and bridges the calls together.
Some providers offer the ability to record calls, change the voice and send text messages.
Orange box
Another method of spoofing is that of emulating the Bell 202 FSK signal. This method, informally called orange boxing, uses software that generates the audio signal which is then coupled to the telephone line during the call. The object is to deceive the called party into thinking that there is an incoming call waiting call from the spoofed number, when in fact there is no new incoming call. This technique often also involves an accomplice who may provide a secondary voice to complete the illusion of a call-waiting call. Because the orange box cannot truly spoof an incoming caller ID prior to answering and relies to a certain extent on the guile of the caller, it is considered as much a social engineering technique as a technical hack.
Other methods include switch access to the Signaling System 7 network and social engineering telephone company operators, who place calls for you from the desired phone number.
Legal considerations
According to a report from the India Department of Telecommunications, the Government of India has taken following steps against the CLI spoofing Service Providers:
· Websites offering caller-ID spoofing services are blocked in India as an immediate measure.
· ILDOs, NLDOs and Access Service Providers have been alerted to the existence of such spoofing services, and shall collectively be prepared to take action to investigate cases of caller-ID spoofing as they are reported.
As per DOT, Using spoofed call service is illegal as per Indian Telegraph Act, Sec 25(c). Using such service may lead to fine or 3 years imprisonment or both
Voicemail used to use caller ID as the only form of authentication, allowing anyone to spoof the phone number and listen to the messages. This was a very insecure policy and most voicemail services have been updated to protect against this attack.
The call-back method allows for some security when you think caller ID spoofing is being used. You could put the caller on hold, and then call the displayed number. If the number is busy or you reached the company they said they are calling from then they are potentially telling the truth.
However, they could be forwarding you to the company. At that point, when you are on phone with the company in question, you could ask whether or not the person is calling on behalf of the company.
The final check you could make is to enter the number in question in a search engine. This allows you to see if the company has the number on their website or if the company has mention of a scam that is going on. It also allows you to figure out what other people are saying about number.
Earlier this year, a tax scam in Pottsville, PA, claimed to arrest victims if they didn’t pay outstanding tax debts. The caller ID that was spoofed showed that the originating call was from a Pennsylvania phone number: 570-622-1234. This number belonged to Pottsville City Hall, giving a false sense of security to anyone who received the call. The police warned of the scam and reminded Pottsville citizens to never give out any personal information over the telephone.
It should be noted that spoofing a phone number with malicious intent is against the law. In Canada, the CRTC suggests suspected victims file a complaint if they believe the caller ID has been spoofed by a telemarketer.
The FCC also prohibits the use of using caller ID spoofing with intent to defraud, cause harm and wrongfully obtain anything of value.
If you ever question the number that you see on you caller ID, remember to be cautious. When anyone has the ability to call you as another person or company, it’s impossible to know his or her intentions. Make sure to take the time to verify the person on the other end of the phone.
Who's who on your phone.
ID thieves also can use your personal information to open new credit accounts (e.g., credit cards, mortgage or car loan), create a new identity or even obtain a job fraudulently. Often, you won't even realize something's wrong until a collection agency -- or the IRS -- starts hounding you for unpaid bills or taxes.
Another common caller ID spoof involves hacking into someone's voice mail account. Many cellphone users never bother to set up passwords on their voice mailboxes (big mistake). And, since many voicemail systems grant access to callers phoning from their own number, a hacker could easily spoof your number and gain access to your messages.
The increasing popularity of voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) phone services like Skype and Vonage also has increased caller ID spoofing activity. These services use computer addresses instead of actual phone numbers to connect via the Internet, so scammers can choose any available area code and phone number, making it even harder to determine who's who on your phone.
Other related identity theft scams to watch out for include:
Email phishing: Like spoofing, but with email. A supposedly trusted source (often from a fabricated email account) tries to trick you into supplying or confirming account information, log-in IDs or passwords, often by trying to create a sense of urgency; for example, saying your account will be frozen if you don't respond immediately.
Legitimate organizations rarely, if ever, ask you to verify sensitive information through a non-secure means like email. When in doubt, look up their contact information separately and call to verify if it's legitimate. And don't click on links or attachments in unsolicited emails, which could install malicious software on your computer.
SMiShing (for "Short Message Service" phishing): Like phishing, only it uses text messages sent to your cellphone. Even if you don't click on any links or share information, just by responding you're verifying that your phone number is valid, which means it could be sold to others who will try to trick you into their own scams.
What can you do to protect yourself against Caller ID Spoofing?
Don’t place all your trust in the Caller ID information presented to you
Now that you know that this information is easily spoofed by the use of 3rd party Caller ID spoofing services and other tools, you won't be as trusting in the technology as you have been. This should help you in the quest to Scam-proof Your Brain.
Never give credit card information out to someone who has called you
It’s a personal rule of mine that I don’t conduct any business over the phone where I haven’t initiated the call. Get a call back number and call back if you are interested in a product or service. Use Google to reverse lookup their phone number and see if it is associated with a known scam.

There an interesting story of Raavan losing on the banks of this river to a king that most people don’t know.
According to Valmiki Ramayan, When Lanka’s king Raavan had defeated all the kings, he went to Mahishmati Nagar (today’s Maheshwar) and challenaged the king Sahastrabahu Arjun. That time Sahastrabahu Arjun was bathing in river with his wives.
Raavan then decided to wait in his nagar, but when he saw the flow of River Narmada, he decided to Shiva Tapasya. The place where Raavan was worshipping Lord Shiva, Sahastrabahu Arjun was just a few kms away playing with his wives in Narmada.
Sahastrabahu Arjun had eight arms and he easily stopped the flow of River Narmada, which resulted in river flowing on the banks. The place where Raavan was worshipping was completely drowned by Narmada. When Raavan came to know about this, he sent his soldiers to find out the reason.
The soldiers told everything to Raavan and then he challenged Sahastrabahu Arjun for a fight. They both fought on the banks of River Narmada. In the end, Raavan lost and Sahastrabahu Arjun put him behind bars. When Raavan’s grandfather, Pulsatya Muni came to know about this, he came to Sahastrabahu Arjun and requested him to free Raavan. Sahastrabahu Arjun freed Raavan and became his friend.

The narrow lane gives way to the beach, and as the sun begins to set the beach shacks put out their seafood platters as yoga students practice the sun salutation. A herd of cows meander single file along the shore, past fire jugglers and brightly dressed beach traders carrying home their fluttering sarongs. Incense and cooking season the air as the yellow moon rises.Arambol is the kind of place you can easily get stuck in, so keep your plans open as with a few hammocks and a quiet beach on the doorstep of your shack you'll soon gel with an amazing group of people and won't want to leave.
Arambol Beach Highlights
A slow walk along the shore at sunset, observing the people / animals / sea and sky.
Watching musicians play live at Loeki's Cafe, anything from Indian classical music to psychedelic sounds - open mike nights are popular and the place fills up fast.
Hire a scooter for the day to explore the surrounding countryside. It is especially beautiful early in the season when the plants and fields are a million shades of green.
Climb around Arambol's rocky headland to the north of the beach to take a dip in the sweet water lake at Palolem beach (also referred to as Kalacha). If you are feeling adventurous, continue north to the secluded Keri beach.
Pick up silver jewellery, Rajasthani art or party clothes on the narrow market path leading to the sea.
Find Arambol's hidden culinary gems, where you can eat some of the best Western and Indian food in Goa (see Eating below).
How to get there
Air : Goa's international airport, Dabolim, is 29 km from the capital Panaji. Indian Airlines has direct flights from Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai daily.
Rail : Goa's two main stations are at Margao and Vasco da Gama. Vasco-da-Gama and Margoa are connected by train with Bangalore, Belgaum, Hospet and Hyderabad and via Miraj to Bombay, Delhi and Agra.
Road: Goa is well connected by NH17A with Maharashtra and Karnataka state. There are regular bus services to Mumbai, Bangalore, Hampi and other destinations from the Kadamba bus stand at Panaji. There are buses available frequently from Panjim and Arambol every thirty minutes until noon.
If you are getting around Goa on a scooter as many visitors do, you will need to cross over the Chapora River bridge and then turn right at the T-Junction by the market and huge Banyan tree. Take a sharp left towards the coast and continue along the road towards Mandrem and Arambol. The left turn towards Arambol beach is before the market and petrol pump.
Frequent buses run the 32 km journey between Mapusa and Arambol (every 30 mins or so), just ask a driver at the main bus stand at Mapusa to point you to the right vehicle. A private minibus can be arranged from Panjim, which would shorten the Panjim-Arambol public route. Arambol's bus stop is on the main road, near the left-turn towards the school and St Carmel Church.
Taxis, rickshaws and bike taxis are easy to arrange in Goa, though prices in season can be high, especially for foreign tourists. Try negotiating with your driver, or asking a few people to find the best rate. Expect to pay several hundred rupees for a taxi between Mapusa and Arambol beach, less for a bike taxi or rickshaw. If you arrive at Margao train station, the pre-paid taxi booth is just outside the station. Other travellers may be glad to share the journey, taxis should carry four to five people.
Just before you reach the sea on Glastonbury Street, look out for a pizza place called Fellini's. Their delicious wood fired pizzas, or authentic pasta dishes are well worth a taste, and the busy venue is a great place to people-watch.
Relax Inn is one of the many restaurants that open out on to the Arambol beach. These places serve freshly caught sea food, cocktails, Indian dishes and Western fare. If you are choosing fish, look for the freshest catches and try bartering a little on the price. Also on the beach (across the small stream) theGerman Bakery does good, healthy breakfasts and will fill your water bottle with purified water for free.
If you fancy some music while you eat, try Loeki's on a small lane just off Glastonbury Street (to the left if you face the sea). Further down the lane, The Mango Tree is also known for its live music.
Most of the accommodation is basic, in simple houses in the woods behind the beach. Majority is empty huts but some have fully equipped kitchens and showers. There are restaurants, travel agencies (handling foreign exchange), Internet and other services along the road leading to the northern end of the beach and a few stores in the village.
Arambol beach caters mainly for long-term budget travellers, so the accommodation is inexpensive and usually fairly basic.
Cock's Town has cheap, basic beach huts on offer right on the beach (south of the small stream). Bathrooms are not attatched, but lockers are available, and you can wake up and jump straight in the sea! Almost all of the sea front restaurants have some kind of accommodation, especially as you head south down the beach.
Tip: If you arrive with friends, try leaving your bags with one of the group and sending someone out to scout for a deal. View a few and negotiate on the price, since you will almost certainly be able to bring down the first offer. Stays of more than a couple of days should work in your favour when bargaining.
Taking a small track left just opposite and beyond the police station (before the main road through the village veers left) you will find several accommodation options where you will get a quieter stay away from the shops and bars. Of these, Ivon's, Ave Maria and God's Gift are definitely worth a try.
Beside The Sea
Arambol beach merges seamlessly with Mandrem and Ashvem beach to the south. It is possible to walk the north Goa beaches from Keri beach at the northern tip of Goa, to Morjim beach where the wide Chapora river meets the sea. If you decide on this, take a few days, since walking in the heat of the sun is not advisable!
For Kerala's answer to Arambol, have a look at the quieter Varkala beach where a line of boutiques, restaurants and bars cling to a steep, laterite cliff that gives sweeping views of the sea.
